If you have a swimming pool on your property, then you will need to have it cleaned regularly in order to keep it safe to use. This is true of the pool itself, the water in it, and the deck surrounding it. Our team at 4 Seasons SoftWash offers meticulous pool deck cleaning services that keep your pool area looking immaculate while protecting it from stains and damage. In this article, we will go over a few reasons why pool deck washing is an essential part of pool care.
- Safety. The first reason you should make regular pool deck washing a part of your routine pool care is due to safety concerns. Over time, contaminants such as mold, mildew, and algae will grow on your pool deck and this in turn will make your deck very slippery. It’s important to remove these contaminants with regular cleaning in order to reduce the risk of slip accidents in your pool area.
- Deck Lifespan. Routine pool deck washing will also help extend the lifespan of the deck, especially if you use our soft washing services. We use a specialized blend of eco-friendly cleaning agents to eliminate microbes like mold and algae, which will keep your deck cleaner for longer. In addition, by thoroughly removing these contaminants, we prevent the damage they do over time, which will make your pool deck last longer.
- Water Quality. Lastly, using pool deck washing services regularly goes a long way toward keeping your pool clean and supporting better water quality. By removing mildew and the like from your pool deck, our team will help prevent it from spreading into the pool itself and making the water dirty.
